wow

Ugh. I'm exhausted. Between being pregnant, working like crazy, trying to decide on the safest car seat, making sure I pick the best pediatrician, selecting a good daycare, getting the nursery finished...and just when I think I'm at my wits end she kicks me and all I can do is smile. I know I'll be spending many days and nights dwelling over making decisions that are best for her the rest of my life. Guess that's part of being a mom. Wow, I'm going to be a mom. : )

24 weeks

TGIF! Work is beyond hectic and this prego is exhausted. I'm happy to report though that we had our 24 week check up yesterday and Abigail is weighing in at 1.5 pounds and is 12.4 inches long. We got to see how all her little organs are functioning as they should, it's incredible how much detail a black and white sonogram is. I'm just beaming ear to ear, she's truly a blessing from God. 

My mom and I went shopping today after I got poked and prodded (ugh, blood work!) - let me just say this little girl already has the most spectacular wardrobe. Tomorrow we're headed to the Blue Print 75% off sale, so excited. I'm hoping to snag a light fixture for the nursery. And some art would be great too!

it's a girl

I can't believe it has been over a month since my last post. It's been a very busy May. We found out at the beginning of the month we're having a girl. Abigail Reiss Yanez - we just can't decide if we're going to call her Abigail (not Abby) or Reiss. I've also started to feel her kick over the last couple of weeks and it's the most amazing feeling.  September doesn't seem all that far away now.

Along with all the baby excitement we just got back from our annual family vacation to Rosemary Beach. The water was exceptionally gorgeous this year and the weather was beautiful. We had such a wonderful time. Thanks Mom and Dad for taking us year after year, the memories we've created will last forever. Can't wait to take our newest family member next year (she's already got so many cute outfits for it too).

While we were in Rosemary we had a local photographer take some family pictures and I think they turned out really great, thanks Cocoa!
